A 27-year-old Venezuelan national got 96 months in federal prison for a scheme that pried open ATM casings, plugged in a laptop, and told the machine to dispense everything. Over $3.5 million is attributed to him. He is one of 119 people charged in Nebraska alone, and roughly 1,900 of these attacks have been reported since 2020.
